“No kettle in the room! Huge rooms, lovely staff, nice location. Bit of a walk to get into town, and the hotel restaurant is very basic, but still a nice place to stay.”

“Wonderful little hotel, with some interesting history and artifacts. Service by the staff is wonderful, very attentive. Restaurant full board meals are a little late, not serving till 8pm. Bar food choices are not overly exciting and limited veggie choices. Not many sunbeds and small pool area. Wonderful view from the breakfast room.”

“A small but special, family run hotel. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful, providing great service in all areas. Very comfortable air-conditioned bedrooms. Main building and rest of the accommodation/bedrooms are both very clean and comfortable throughout. There is an outdoor pool and great views over Mahon harbour area from the main dining room, a few of the upstairs bedrooms in the main building, and also from the upstairs outdoor sun terrace. Hotel seems to be mainly used by returning adult guests. Main building has lots of history attached and has a few bedrooms upstairs. The remainder of the bedrooms are set on the ground floor just across from the hotel. Hotel is set about halfway between Mahon and Es Castell and there is a regular bus service, the bus stop being just a 3 to 4 minute walk. There is a small home bakery in Son Vilar which also sells bottles of water, and is about 5 to 6 minutes walk away. The garage/petrol station in Son Vilar is currently closed.”
